To those who actually do read onto my ever word on this journal and are eagerly awaiting a scanlation for the hearty month of September, I am sad to tell you this, but we won't be uploading anything until Winter 2009-2010.

Why?

To make a long story short, Kei-chan (to which I can tell is feeling MUCH better thanks to all your warm thoughts!) is without a competent PC that can do the typesetting. I, on the other hand, am swamped with homework (and it's only the first week of school, too! T.T). So instead of driving ourselves to push something out, I decided to tell you what we plan to put out in December-January.

Winter Update List (DEFINITE)

Will Not Scanlate

Cross and Gospel has been scanlated in French by strike_kun [here] (and from what I've heard, a few people have decided to scanlate it from French into English in the near future!) and Soleil has been scanlated/translated in English by Majikayo [here]

We will also no longer scanlate any of KAIN/SCOOP's DGM doujinshi due to the fact that another scanlation group has come in and volunteered to scanlate her fabulous works for everyone. (But if anyone has a copy of her latest Final Fantasy: Dissidia doujinshi, mind giving me a PM/comment? *wants it really badly* >.<)

Well, it's summer, and you know what that means... doujins! new site look! FAQs (so look at that before you ask us any questions, would you?)

Originally, we were gonna post up around 20-ish doujins this summer, but Kei-chan has gotten the flu recently, and I had just lost the drive to actually translate most of the stuff. So we only got around to four. Doesn't matter though 'cuz we are gonna try to pump out more for August (or September). *prays* Right now, I'm more concerned for Kei-chan's health.

Title: Kiss and Rice Jerky

Genre: Romance, fluff
Pairing: Allen/Kanda
Summary: [Takes place around the time when Link is assigned to Allen's surveillance] From what I can tell with the quick scan I did of the story, Kanda visits Allen in the ark where he's playing the piano but while Allen wants some type of comfort from all that is troubling him; however, Kanda refuses to give it to him until the very end where he shows that he cares in his own special way.

Title: Soleil

Summary: Umm, okay, this one has two stories. One is about how Allen and Lavi are on a mission, and Lavi notices how Allen is tired but so self-conscious and willing to sacrifice himself, so Lavi berates him (from what I can see). The second story is about Lavi stumbling upon Allen sleeping and they walk back together to HQ, hand-in-hand.

Title: Belive those who are seeking the truth; doubt those who find it
Type: D.Gray-man
Genre: romance, angst
Pairing: Kanda/Lavi
Summary: This one is hard to summarize, actually. It's basically a very deep story that relates as to what Lavi's eye is and how it holds many secrets to the truth, but Kanda speaks about the eye as something that should be doubted (from what I can tell from the sketchy reading I did of it).

Title: The Thirteenth Spirit
Type: D.Gray-man
Genre: romance, angst
Pairing: Lavi/Allen
Summary: It's three stories put into one. The first one speaks about how Lavi's name is derived from Judas in the bible and from that story, it connects to the next two stories about how Lavi (Judas) will one day have to betray Allen (Jesus). It's one of the most heartbreaking stories where the ending is absolutely heartwretching.

Title: Ai Love Yu (or "I Love You")
Type: D.Gray-man
Genre: romance, tragedy, angst
Pairing: Lavi/Kanda
Summary: Okay, this story is basically drawn by two different doujinkas. They take one story and spin it differently so you get two stories where it's basically the same story just told differently. It's an AU where Kanda has a twin sister named Ai and Lavi and Ai are dating. However, something happens to Ai and Lavi and Kanda become ever closer friends due to their grief. However, Kanda falls for Lavi, but he has no wish to be a replacement for Ai, and yeah, it goes on like that. The omake with Allen is very hilarious though.

~~Title: Ourselves~~ [see recent posts]

Genre: romance, humour
Pairing: Lavi/Allen
Summary: Basically four short one-shots. The first story takes place when Allen and Lavi are trudging up to Krory's castle and Lavi kisses away the vampire bite on Allen's finger. The second story takes place in a hotel where Allen is examining his eye wound and Lavi somehow appears out of nowhere. The third story is when Allen and Lavi are playing around in bed (very implied) and Bookman catches them in the act. The fourth story is about how Allen is ignored by Lavi who's reading a book and Bookman tells Allen that when Lavi reads, he doesn't stop for anything because there's nothing more important than reading. Allen feels unwanted.

Summary: Seriously, I cannot sum up the various Abyss one-shots we'll be doing because my typesetter/editor WILL NOT let me see them for fear that I will get spoiled (I'm just watching the anime; haven't touched the game ever). So above are the doujins we will do for Abyss (there will be more, hopefully).

First story: [Pre-Akzeriuth] Luke's ill and all the girls try their best to take care of him but end up in a struggle of who wins Luke's heart while causing lots of trouble to their ill friend.
Second story (Fourth in the anthology): This one's about Anise dragging Dist into a crazy adventure (can't tell much since I'm not the translator...)
Third story (Seventh in the anthology): I'm rather baffled at this one. Seemingly, Luke is chibi-fied and each of the characters try to turn him back to normal with their own devious methods.

First post, well, ever since neither me nor my partner actually uses LJ. Anyway, to make a long story short, we are a small scanlation group -- very small considering we are only two people -- dedicated to translating and delivering HQ doujinshi to whomever wants to read it. We don't scanlate doujins that have already been scanlated and well, yeah, more info is on our bio.

2. If wishing to use the scans for whatever, there is no need to credit us; HOWEVER, if the scans are NOT scanned by us (and will be stated clearly in the credits), then PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE credit the scanner.

3. Scanlations that are friends-locked, DO NOT REDISTRIBUTE ELSEWHERE. The reason why is that we did not receive permission from the artist to scanlate his/her work, but we want to spread the artist's work to people who cannot read it in Japanese. So PLEASE DO NOT REDISTRIBUTE THOSE SCANLATIONS.

Note: There will be doujinshis that will be friends-locked, so if you want to d/l them, please friend us and we'll let you read them, but only if you abide with the rules above. If anyone were to distribue the doujinshis that are friend-locked on ANY other site without permission, addiction has the right to strip each url of it all and will cease translating and distributing those doujinshis.
